CHEERLEADER

The OC Tiger Youth Football & Cheer program, in Oldham Co., Ky, is an elite 501c3 non-profit organization with focused development of youth athletes. While winning is desired our intent is to instill core discipline & fundamentals required to move to the next level.

We are committed to the growth & success of our youth. From the Steering Board to the Coaches and Parents, our focus is:

The OC Tigers compete in the Louisville Youth Football League (LYFL), playing against the most talented teams in the Greater Louisville area. We believe this provides our youth with the most competitive edge and opportunity for future success.

During the season, home games are held at Oldham County High School and practices are held at Oldham County High School (map). All away games will be played at LYFL fields across the Louisville Metro Area.

At the end of the season, we will enter into post-season tournaments such as "The National Battle in Rocky Top" where 20+ states and 300 + of the nation's best teams are represented.

The OC Tigers Cheerleaders will help to support the OC Tiger football teams during competition in the Louisville Youth Football League (LYFL).

During the season, home games are held at Oldham East Middle School and practices are held at Oldham County High School (map). All away games will be played at LYFL fields across the Louisville Metro Area.

At the end of the season, we will enter into post-season cheer competition to battle against other LYFL cheer teams.

OUR FOOTBALL AGE GROUPS

MIGHTY MITE (MM)

MIGHTY MITE (MM): Core development of athletes ages 5-7 and includes experienced and first-year players. Focus is directed towards fundamental skills, safety & knowledge.

PEEWEE (PW)

Continued development of athletes ages 8-9 & includes experienced & first-year players. Focus is on deeper understanding of football philosophy, development of positional skill & safety.

JUNIORS (JR)

Prepares athletes ages 10-11 for the next level of competitive football. Focus is directed towards advanced level of football philosophy, disciplined positional skill, technique & safety.
